"Wonderland"

This body of work has been developed by a group of photographers from Washington and Sunderland. Over a period of five weeks they have spent time in the Empire theatre, photographing, looking , writing and discussing what different emotions memories and experiences the theatre brings to mind. Here we have tried to create a body of work that conveys a sense of the space and the experience of the theatre, the smell, the touch, and the atmosphere. The photographers have worked together to edit a set of images that express some of these ideas.
