I work in the field of audio visual arts mixed in with craft and the body. My work navigates human interaction with landscape through intervention and installations with  large scale photographic prints, or intimate video works. I create elaborate embroidered audio gloves and quilts banners and flags. I create  abstract videos that experiment with materials , light and body.  I run a number of audio projects including 'Noizechoir' and a live looping voice and electronics solo project 'Pinnel'.  I have incorporated a nomadic element to my work, developing a traveling practice with my family, making make work that responds to location and community, engages with local culture and historical research to produce work with a wry humour and dark- edged reflection of modern life. My process reflects an improvised practice which runs through both my audio and visual works, which I use and a research tool to investigate subject and place.
